Basic Correction

Using the technique learnt in class to adjust the exposure, contrast, highlights, shadow, whites and blacks to match all the videos with one standards while referencing to the lumetri scopes.
Video 2 Basic Correction done on video
Colour Correction
Tools: Adjustment Layer + Colour Adjustment
We are required to match the colour of the video to the image below by editing on the adjustment layer over all videos. One thing to add on is that I realized the colour does not look natural when it is exactly the same with the reference image. Hence, I applied "soft light" blending mode and lowered the opacity to make the videos look more naturally while maintaining the characteristics from the reference.

Other than the conversation recorder on-site, I also added in ambient sound of the environment to make it realistic. Scaring sound effect, which taking the sound effect in the original video as reference and try to replace/ match/ remake with appropriate timing and purpose. Sound effect produced during shooting also replaced with a better quality sound effect found online (e.g. steps, rubbing of clothes, shaking etc.).
